Community Police
Officer Brian
Schilt:
briansc@ci.green-bay.wi.us In his 2005 State of the City
Address Mayor Schmitt stated: We have more community police officers
than any other city in the state and our six Community Service
Interns (CSIs) have reached out to the community to provide a level
of service that is unmatched. This new program of CSIs is our moving
neighborhood watch program. These second year students at NWTC are
additional eyes and ears for our community. They are Federally
funded through our Community Development Block Grant. They patrol
areas of concern issuing customer focused warnings for parking and
inspection violations. You may have seen them walking in their
yellow jackets, driving, or biking in our downtown neighborhoods or
at community events. |
